Definitely look at the book by downloading the DjVu file or through DjVu Applet mode to get the full effect of the scan.
This is an incredible book with beautiful full color copies of paintings.
Some of the best paintings can be seen on leaves 31, 127, 167, and 223. The book is a very thorough account of stories from different areas of Scotland, including the various dialects. The regional words and pronunciations are well explained and many are quite funny and endearing.
